Our First Exhibition StandĀ š«š·š„
Maison & Objet, Paris is one of the biggest design conventions in the world.
We had our very first exhibition stand ā & got the chance to meet incredibly interesting people from all over the world.
That means Birdies are now leaving our Danish nest to spread their wings in shops across Belgium, Germany, and beyond.

Danish Design Awards š
The 24th of September was truly a great day in our nest, as we were named finalists for the Danish Design Award!

The award celebrates impactful design solutions, and one of their core values is toĀ āsolve problems worth solving.ā
Ā
While itās an honor to be recognized for our design...
It means just as much that such a skilled jury sees the importance of solving the indoor climate problem.
Because Birdie might be cute... But the health consequences of poor indoor air qualityĀ is not.

"What's Birdie doing on a Tech-Summit? "š
Our founders, Hans & Andreas, were invited to talk at Tech BBQ, Copenhagen ā a hot spot in the Scandinavian tech scene.Ā
But, what are they doing at a tech-summit, isn't Birdie a design product?
That's a very good question.
Ā
As we like to put it: Birdie is smooth on the outside & smart on the inside.

Actually, we've teamed up with a swiss pioneer in sensor technology,Ā Sensirion. Perfecting their craft since 1998.

And that's something we're really proud of: Combining intelligent tech & intuitive design, to solve a serious problem in a "simple" way.

Behind The Scenes: New Colors šļø
As we said in the beginning, we've been busy wrapping up the campaign for our new colors.
Glacier, Meadow & Dune. That's the names of the new colors - inspired by the outdoors.
We wanted the campaign to express feeling of fresh air. And how it ultimately flows from nature.
So it was very important that we found just the right outdoor locations.

It might sound simple, but the ocean doesnāt care about your expensive camera gear ā and the wind doesnāt show up when you need it to erase human footprints all over a giant dune.

It worked in the end. And we're quite proud of how it turned out!
